Currency Converter

Convert between thirty currencies, including the US and Hong Kong dollars, euro, pound, yen, yuan and the major Asian and European currencies. The pair is shown in both directions, and a table renders your amount in every supported currency at once so you do not have to convert repeatedly.

Rates are mid-market reference rates fetched from a licensed market-data provider and cached for up to an hour, and the tool states when the rate it is using was fetched. That is deliberate: a converter that presents an hour-old rate as a live one is misleading, and these are not dealing rates — they carry no spread, commission or card fee, so the number your bank gives you will differ.

This is one of the few tools here that is not purely local. An exchange rate is a fact about the world that has to be fetched, and the provider requires a licence key that cannot be published in a browser, so the request goes to nyaa.tools’ own API. Changing the amount does not fetch anything — only the rate is retrieved, and the arithmetic happens in the page.
