About this tool
Paste two versions of a file, config or block of text and switch between a side-by-side view with before and after line numbers and a single inline list. Where a deleted line pairs up with an added one, a second pass over word tokens highlights only the words that actually differ, so a one-character edit inside a long line is not shown as the whole line changing. This is lexical, not syntactic: no language is parsed and no keyword colouring is applied.
Whitespace-insensitive mode ignores indentation and trailing-space churn, and line endings are normalised so a CRLF file compared against an LF file does not show every line as changed.
Nothing is uploaded, so you can diff production configuration or logs without sending them to a third party.
