Resize by maximum width, maximum height, a fit box or a percentage, with aspect ratio preserved and upscaling off by default, process a batch of images at once, and see the size saved for each one before downloading.

Nothing is uploaded. Almost every "compress image online" result sends your photo to someone else’s server; here the work happens on a canvas in your own browser. That has a second benefit worth knowing: re-encoding strips EXIF metadata, including GPS coordinates and camera details, so a photo you resize before posting no longer carries the location it was taken. The trade-off is that orientation and camera data are dropped too — orientation is applied to the pixels first, so images stay the right way up.
