Split PDF

Drop a PDF and choose how to cut it: every page into its own file, chunks of a fixed size, or custom ranges — 1-3; 4-6; 7- makes three files, while 2, 5-8 makes one. Ranges can run backwards to reverse pages and can be open-ended. A preview lists what will be produced before anything is done. One output downloads directly; several are packed into a zip, written in the browser as well, so a hundred pages do not mean a hundred download prompts.

Every page is copied into a new document in a background worker in your tab. The file you split — the scanned lease, the signed agreement, the statement you only need one page of — is never uploaded, which is the difference between this and nearly every other result for the same search. Page numbers are physical positions in the file, not the folios printed on the page.

Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first. Page-level content — text, images, form fields, links — comes with each page; document-level bookmarks do not.
